What is Colon Cancer?
Colon cancer occurs when cells lining the inside of the colon, begin to grow out of control. This can cause bleeding and/or blockage of the bowel. If these cells spread, they can be life threatening.

How extensive was my cancer?
The extent of colon cancer varies for each poerson and is based upon x-ray studies, operative findings, and the final pathology report of the tumor.
